The recommended maximum safe working load of any cable assembly used in rigging applications is 1/5 of the minimum rated breaking strength of the cable.
Example: 1/8” 7 X 19 GAC = 2,000 lbs min break strength. 2000 lbs X .20 = 400 lbs. = Maximum working load |
